Naked Cookies

With the christmas season almost coming to a close, I have had orders for naked cookies. Naked cookies are so easy, fun and hassle free when it comes to giving out simple, yummy gifts. All you have to do is order a few dozen and then decorate them yourselfs!

Winter wonderland!

I had a wedding cake this past weekend, it so much fun.. it was a winter/Christmas themed wedding. To save money the bride chose a fake Styrofoam cake, and served big sheet cakes. I love the big red bow, It was so christmasy.

Breast Cancer fundraiser

Somehow I totally skipped over these cookies while blogging everything else.. These cookies were made for a fundraiser - all proceeds went to the 3-day walk for the cure!

Le Decor Boutique

Le Decor Boutique was such a blast - it was full of some wonderful vendors and yummy treats! I had some really cute snowflake and stocking cookies for sale, i personally think they were the yummiest! :)

1 year old birthday cake

This was such a fun cake to decorate - all mom requested was hot pink and a big bow on top.. the flavor was Mexican chocolate (which was my first time making it and boy was it GOOD!) and strawberry with butter cream filling. Thanks for looking!

Happily Ever After

Here is a wedding cake from 2 weekends ago - she asked for something unique, so we decided on square with the fondant wrapped around the sides to create a layered look. Then we added the ribbon to wrap it all up, and the glass tier separator set it all off. Thanks for stopping by, let me know what you think!

70th birthday cake & cookies

I got an order for a 60th birthday cake - very pleased with how the cake turned out, I heard it was pretty tasty too! Happy birthday!

 These were made for a church party, I like the purple with the bats and moon.

Poodles

I was contacted to make a cake and it happened to fall on the same day as my daughter was being baptized, so I sadly couldn't do it.. Mom still wanted me to make some poodles to put on a cake she made herself. The poodles were made out of royal icing, for a Paris themed party.

Cat cookies

This fun order was for a 40th birthday party, and the theme was wild jungle, I think they turned out very nice!

Volleyball

I had a cookie order for volleyball cookies, they were given to the team. They turned out so cute!

First birthday cake

Got a request for a first birthday cake to match the invitations, I think this cake turned out great! The top and bottom layers were chocolate and the middle was vanilla and butter cream frosting  - YUM! I'm sure that sweet birthday girl enjoyed her cake very much!

Aubreys 8th birthday!

I love when I get the chance to make something special for my own kids. My daughter Aubrey turned 8 last week and had her party at Sweet Tomatoes (yes, it was her choice, haha) but she looked through a magazine found what she wanted and I made it. It was vanilla with butter cream filling, even after all the pizza, 'salad', and frozen yogurt the girls enjoyed eating the cake.

Taylors 9th birthday bash!

Had another cookie party that was so much fun! The girls did great decorating their cookies, and eating yummy cupcakes! Happy birthday Taylor!

Sweet 15 birthday party!

Your never to old to have a cookie party! These fabulous 15 year olds had a great time learning the ins and outs of fondant. They did a great job on their flowers and I had a blast with them. Thanks for the party!

Wedded bliss

I had another bride request this cake - she loved the last one I did! We changed the colors to purple and white. It was a white cake with vanilla butter cream filling. This is quickly becoming my favorite cake of all times. It is very elegant and fun. Thanks guys and Congratulations!

Touch down!

I had an order for a sports theme basket! We did football, baseball and basketball for a little  boy who is battling brain cancer. I wish you well with your fight and hope you keep scoring those touchdowns! Of course i forgot to take a picture, but they turned out great!

Fit for a Princess!

These fun 'fit for a princess' shoe cookies were ordered from my etsy store, for a party clear over in South Carolina! They were fun to make and even more fun to eat! I hope the party was a success!

Birthday girl!

Sometimes when your mom is the 'cake lady' you don't get a cake because she is to busy making other cakes but this year for the special 12th birthday my little girl got a special cake! She picked out the decorations, colors and the cake flavor. It was so cute, she searched all my favorite websites until she found what she wanted. Congratulations on turning 12, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELBY!
